Dream act or something bigger act.. (11/16/10)

I understand that some of our brothers and sisters don't take advantage of the opportunities given to them but what about the people that are trying to make it, and take advantage of those opportunities which are unfortunately not as available as we would like them to be? The point that I'm trying to get across is; why hold someone back who is trying to progress in life and help people in the process huh? It just doesn't make sense. It irritates me to watch this neanderthal way of life in which only the wealthy have a say, aren't we all equal? Is society trying to discriminate and digress back to the stone age, racist age or Nazi era? I'm exaggerating since they are much smarter than this and will not officially call it discrimination but, what is this era called? I just cant find the purpose of these reoccuring situations.
